AC3E welcomes internships for the period 2022

During the month of January, more than 30 students joined the Advanced Center for Electrical and Electronic Engineering, AC3E, to carry out their professional practice, who will work in different areas of impact and spin off, spaces in which they can collaborate and acquire knowledge that is fundamental for their professional training, as well as contribute with their skills.

To welcome them, on January 6, a reception was held in the meeting room of the Board of Directors, where Dr. Matías Zañartu, Director of the Center, made a presentation of AC3E and its main research and development projects, in addition to highlighting the importance of having the presence of young people, which is in line with the mission of the Center and its objective of training advanced human capital.
For Katherine Callejas, a student of Civil Electronic Engineering at UTFSM, this is an opportunity to materialize the knowledge acquired and generate contributions to society. “For some years in the Electronics career there has been a lot of talk about AC3E, about how it has been growing and innovating and the technological opportunities that exist in the development. I always wanted to contribute to the country in some way and I think this is the space in which the paths can be opened to start researching and also to develop,” he said.

For José Manuel Rojas, a student of Civil Electronic Engineering at UTFSM, the possibility of doing research on his topics of interest was a determining factor in his choice of the Center as the place to carry out his professional internship. “The area of research caught my attention, especially focused on the medical area, and I saw a great opportunity at AC3E, first to develop professionally and also to be able to research topics related to my thesis,” he concluded.
