Three researchers from the Advanced Center for Electrical and Electronic Engineering, AC3E, were awarded Iniciación Fondecyt from the National Research and Development Agency, ANID, which seeks to foster and strengthen the development of scientific and technological research of excellence by promoting new researchers, through the financing of research projects of 2 to 3 years duration in all areas of knowledge.
These are researcher Dr. Melissa Diago and researchers Dr. Hugues Renaudineau and Dr. Jorge Marin, whose projects met all the requirements to qualify for this important fund and thereby finance scholarships, support staff, international collaborations, equipment and infrastructure, among other operating expenses.
“Receiving the award of this prestigious research fund is a moment of deep gratitude and satisfaction for me. It is a recognition of the work and dedication that I have invested in the area of telecommunications. I am especially happy and proud that ANID has recognized the importance and relevance of this project, with funding that not only provides me with the necessary resources to carry out this research, but also validates the relevance and potential impact of this work on society and on the advancement of science,” highlighted AC3E researcher, Dr. Melissa Diago.
Undoubtedly, this is an important validation and support for the research led by AC3E scientists, and reflects the excellent work that the Center does in each of its research areas.
