AC3E postdoctoral researcher wins Abertis Chile 2021 Award

Sandy Bolufé, a postdoctoral researcher at the Advanced Center for Electrical and Electronic Engineering (AC3E) distinguished himself by winning the Abertis Chile 2021 Award in the category of Road Safety and Sustainable and Safe Mobility, given by Abertis, Abertis Foundation and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC).

This distinction recognizes unpublished studies and research carried out by students at Chilean universities that address aspects related to transportation services, infrastructure management, and road safety or sustainable, responsible, and safe mobility.

His doctoral thesis has great social relevance, adding to efforts by both academia and the automotive industry to incorporate technology capable of enabling wireless communication networks in vehicles to run safety applications aimed at mitigating traffic accidents.
