Dr. José Rodríguez, rector of Universidad San Sebastián and researcher at the Advanced Center for Electrical and Electronic Engineering (AC3E), received the Gold Medal award from the Institute of Engineers of Chile, which rewards engineers who have distinguished themselves with their service to the country, the engineering profession or the institute.
Dr. Rodríguez is a civil electrical engineer at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María and has a PhD in electrical engineering from Universität Erlangen, Germany. He has vast experience in academia and research, specifically in power electronics, with more than 700 publications, many of them in prestigious international journals.
