On March 31 and April 1, AC3E’s 2022 Internal Seminar was held, for the first time in year in face-to-face format, which was suspended due to the pandemic. Among the Center’s most important strategic activities, it brings together all members to confront the challenges in their fields.
Researchers and staff analyzed the Center’s work in its seventh year and linked it with expectations related to re-application.
The first activity materialized at the new AC3E premises and comprised a presentation by director Matías Zañartu, addressing the main achievements and indicators in areas such as gender equality, academic excellence, projects, knowledge dissemination, and technology transfer.
A tour of the Center’s laboratories was followed by a presentation of projects the Center is working on.
After a convivial lunch, it was the turn of AC3E’s general manager, Oscar Solar, to share the strategic plan, which outlines the way forward for each unit. He also explained how well links with the industry developed last year and referred to projects that are implemented jointly.
