The Advanced Center for Electrical and Electronic Engineering, AC3E, of Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, is an applied research center supported by the Associative Research Program, PIA, of the National Research and Development Agency, ANID.

AC3E is composed of a multi and interdisciplinary group of researchers who seek to increase the competitiveness of the Chilean economy through scientific and technological innovation. Its mission is to contribute to the technological development and competitiveness of the Chilean economy through excellence in research, knowledge exchange, the formation of advanced human capital, and generating technology transfer in areas of social impact in the field of electrical and electronic engineering
