Dr. Samir Kouro, deputy director of and senior researcher at the Advanced Center for Electrical and Electronics Engineering (AC3E), was appointed associate editor of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Magazine, which is among the publications with the highest impact factor in the area of electrical and electronics engineering, dedicated to the dissemination of emerging technologies and new developments in industrial electronics.
Dr. Kouro and the AC3E team’s recent contributions to the magazine have been key, reflected in paper download numbers. Three of the 10 most downloaded papers were co-authored by Dr. Kouro, who also received the Best Paper Award in 2009 and 2022. All this experience was recognized by the journal’s editorial team and influenced his appointment
